Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov meets with Deputy Board Chairman of OAO "Rosselkhozbank" Kirill Levin

On April 15, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Board Chairman of OAO "Rosselkhozbank" Kirill Levin discussed state support measures for entrepreneurship.
Ildar Khalikov is sure that today’s visit of Rosselkhozbank’s management to Kazan will contribute to further strengthening of relations.
It is important to us that not only public authorities but also institutions, dealing with entrepreneurs, and banks in particular realize the need to support and develop small and medium business under the current situation, Ildar Khalikov said.
According to him, small and medium-size businesses create jobs and provide social security of citizens and stability of the state. Particular attention is paid to this issue in Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov added.
Kirill Levin, in his turn, said that upon studying the map of small and medium business development specialists of OAO “Rosselkhozbank" concluded that entrepreneurship develops more actively if there are large production facilities and enterprises in the area.
Participation of OAO "Rosselkhozbank" in regional investment projects and bank’s cooperation with the non-profit organization “Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” were also discussed at the meeting.
Earlier, the press-service of Tatarstan branch of "Rosselkhozbank" reported that it is planned to allocate 5.3 billion roubles to regional agricultural producers to carry out seasonal field works this year. Since December 2013, the bank has provided loans to the amount of 1.8 billion roubles to 56 enterprises for this purpose, including 1.5 billion roubles to large-size companies.
As of mid-March, the share of OAO "Rosselkhozbank" in lending to agriculture is 37 per cent in Tatarstan.
Representatives of Small Business Department of OAO "Rosselkhozbank", Tatartsan Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and other officials took part in the meeting.

On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
