II International forum of investors and operators of road infrastructure opens in Kazan

On April 17 II International forum of investors and operators of road infrastructure opened in Kazan. Aide to Russian President Igor Levitin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and Board Chairman of a government company “Avtodor” Sergey Kelbakh took part in a plenary session.
Opening the plenary session, Head of Tatarstan Government noted the importance of holding the forum in Tatarstan in terms of exchanging experience and find out more about innovations. He expressed hope for discussing the project of international transport corridor “Europe-Western China”.
Ildar Khalikov stressed that many projects are being implemented in Tatarstan, most major industrial enterprises that are located in Kama industrial cluster face problems connected with roads overloading. “In a challenging economic and geopolitical situation we should pay more attention to providing comfortable conditions for developing transport industry,” Ildar Khalikov continued.
Igor Levitin, in his turn, said that creation of “Avtodor” company was an important project for Russia. “Kazan demonstrates a good example when federal and regional budgets, and companies together bring quality transport products. We tested transport logistics at Kazan Universiade, and this experience was used at Sochi Olympics,” he added.
Speaking about the project of central ring motorway supported by Russian President, Igor Levitin noted that will be discussed within the framework of the forum on April 18.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
