Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov awarded title of “Laureate of Russian government prize - 2008 in science and technology”

The title has been conferred by RF government Decree №221 dated March, 10, 2009.
Having considering proposals of Interdepartmental committee on awarding the prizes of Russian government in the sphere of science and technology, the Government of Russian Federation made a decision to award the prize of 2008 in the sphere of science and technology and confer a rank of “Laureate of Russian government prize - 2008 in science and technology” to Doctor of Economics, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Besides, the rank of laureates has been given to doctor of technical sciences, professor, President of Kazan state technical university named after A.N.Tupolev Gennady Degtyarev, candidate of economics, professor, director general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, doctor of technical sciences, professor, director of state institution “Centre of energy-efficient technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan under the RT Cabinet” Evgeny Martynov, the RT deputy minister of industry and trade Farid Tuktarov – for development and implementation of complex regional energy-efficient and energy resource efficient programs in Tatarstan and Moscow.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
