Greetings of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on Orthodox Easter Holiday

Dear Orthodox compatriots!
I sincerely congratulate you on completing the Lenten season and the bright holiday of the Resurrection of Christ!
This year, the Easter is celebrated by representatives of all traditional Christian denominations at the same time that emphasizes the unity and spiritual firmness of imperishable faith. Christians believe that the Resurrection of Christ is “the holiday of holidays” and associate it with the hope of eternal life, salvation, aspiration for peace, good and perfection.
In Tatarstan, Orthodoxy, along with Islam and other traditional religions, is a strong moral foundation of interethnic and interreligious harmony, serving the noble cause of the development of society in the spirit of civil cooperation, mutual respect and genuine patriotism.
I am confident, that lofty Christian ideals that have become an integral part of our mutual spiritual and cultural-historical heritage will be even more prominent in the Year of Culture.
Millions of people worldwide draw the strength, leading them along the path of faith, truth and creation, mercy and humility from the great mystery of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
May the joyful holiday of Easter fill your hearts again with rays of the divine wisdom and give you love and optimism.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
