Rustam Minnikhanov: We have no claims to Apastovo region

On April 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minikhanov flew around Apastovo region to inspect the progress of spring field works. Accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov and Head of Apastovo municipal region Rashid Zagidullin, Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the fields and met with heads of farms, investors and heads settlements.
Reporting to Rustam Minnikhanov on implementation of regional programmes, Rashid Zagidullin said that all works are being carried out according to the schedule.
Marat Akhmetov said that Apastovo region ranked 6th in milk yield and 12th in general agricultural development in the republic.
Addressing heads of farms and rural settlements of Apastovo region, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the role of areas in economic development of the republic, adding that despite the challenging economic situation in the whole country, Tatarstan complied with the planned targets in the first quarter of 2014. It is important for municipalities to develop entrepreneurship and focus on education, Rustam Minnikhanov continued.
Noting that the last few years have been very tough for the regional agriculture, Rustam Minnikhanov urged rural dwellers to introduce new technologies and crop varieties to minimize the impact of potential droughts.
In general, Rustam Minnikhanov highly estimated the work of Apastovo region, noting the effective performance of its leadership. “We have no claims to Apastovo region,” Tatarstan President said and wished regional dwellers success in their work.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
