Tatarstan President inspects spring sowing campaign in Kaibitsy region

On April 20, accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov flew around Kaibitsy municipal region to inspect the spring sowing campaign.
Making a report on the spring field works, head of Kaibitsy municipal region said that arable land area is 56,000 hectares, sown area – 50,500 hectares, the area sown with winter crops makes 10,500 hectares, including 9,100 hectares of winter wheat and 1,400 hectares of winter rye.
According to available data, 4,000 hectares of winter crops and 1,000 hectares of perennial plants have been fertilized. The farmers have started sowing of spring crops, fertilizing of winter crops and harrowing are underway in the fields.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited branches of OOO “Ak Bars – Kaibitsy”, PKKH “Yana Yul”, met with heads of farms, investors and heads of rural settlements.
Noting successful milk production in the region, Marat Akhmetov said that Kaibitsy region ranked 2nd in milk yields per one cow in the republic.
Tatarstan President noted that despite the fact that farming is the main occupation of the rural dwellers, other types of businesses are needed to be developed as well.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
