“Maintaining identity is very important for us. In the process of globalization minor peoples are losing their culture and languages. We can slow down and stop these processes together,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He also noted that accession of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian Federation was unexpected, and today Crimean Tatars should establish a constructive dialogue with Russian leadership, and become a part of Russian multi-ethnic state. “Tatarstan is ready to help,” Rustam Minnikhanov summarized.
