Rustam Minnikhanov: "Tatarstan and Antalya should develop cooperation in other spheres as well as in tourism"

On April 30, during his working trip to Turkey, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Acting Governor of Antalya province Turan Eren. Tatarstan leadership is interested in developing cooperation with Turkish regions, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Welcoming Tatarstan President, Turan Eren said that the visit of Tatarstan delegation led by Rustam Minnikhanov is a privilege for leadership of the province.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Turan Eren for an opportunity to visit Antalya and hold business meetings.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted positive relations between Tatarstan and Turkey. The amount of stated investments on the part of Turkish companies was 1.5 billion dollars, 278 companies with Turkish participation are working in Tatarstan.
“Tourism, cultural exchange, foundation of companies with Turkish participation are actively developing. We think copeartion should also be established with Turkish regions. We would like to expand our contacts. We should develop cooperation in other spheres as well as in tourism” Rustam Minnikhanov stated.
Tatarstan President also mentioned that Consulate-General of the Republic of Turkey is working in Kazan, and there is a representative office of Tatarstan in Istanbul. “We have got all opportunities for cooperation, and I hope that the current visit will give impetus to development of our relations,” Tatarstan President said.
Turan Eren, in his turn, told Rustam Minnikhanov that agriculture, small and medium-size businesses, as well as tourism are developed in Antalya.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
