Factors restraining development of republican market of petrochemicals were discussed in the RT Cabinet

Head of RT Government Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting in the RT Cabinet. He considers that the problem of petrochemicals supply can not be solved without a systemic work. It is necessary to take into consideration the cost of oil production, assurance of its quality and workload of capacities of producing companies.

Representatives of wholesale and retail sector of republican oil production supply system, heads of profile ministries and departments took part in discussion. Every participant of republican oil production supply market is a budget-formation enterprise which influences co-operating economic sectors.

The participants consider that it is important first of all to increase inner consumption and use of republican resources. In order to increase tax and excise payments for republican budget it is significant to develop local oil-producing and oil-refining industry, networks of filling stations and petroleum storage depots which belong to JSC “Tatneft” and “Tatnefteproduct-holding” covering the whole territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and some Russian regions.
