Solemn presentation of banner to regional office of Federal Drug Control Service held in Tatarstan

On May 13, a solemn presentation of the banner to the Federal Drug Control Service in Tatarstan was held in Kazan. Secretary of State, Deputy Director of Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation Oleg Safonov came to Kazan to present the banner of the regional office.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and heads of regional ministries and departments were the honoured guests at the event.
The honorable right to fasten the banner to a pole was given to Oleg Safonov. Then, the first Head of Regional Office of Drug Control Service, retired lieutenant general Shamil Davletgildeev, Head of Federal Drug Control Service of Russia in Tatarstan in 2005-2010, retired lieutenant general Ilgiz Minnulin and other best staff members, who have national and government awards, took part in the ceremony.
Head of Federal Drug Control Service of Russia in Tatarstan, lieutenant general of police Fayaz Shabaev fixed a bracket to the banner.
Later on, Deputy Director of Federal Drug Control Service of Russia read the Certificate of Merit of the Russian President and handed it to the Head of the regional office. Oleg Safonov solemnly presented the banner of Federal Drug Control Service of Russia in Tatarstan to Fayaz Shabaev.
Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, stressed the importance of the regional office of the Federal Drug Control Service and congratulated the leadership and staff of Tatarstan office on a historical event.
Oleg Safonov presented medals “For assistance to drug control agencies" to Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan Prosecutor Ildus Nafikov.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
