Head of RT Ministry of construction Marat Khusnullin: “Under current conditions construction companies do not have possibility to finish works on houses of high state of readiness”

RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin informed at a meeting in the RT Cabinet that about 211,4 thousand m² of housing had been commissioned in March in Tatarstan, 130 000 m² - in Kazan. All republican municipal regions took part in videoconference meeting held by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

Head of RT Government stressed that according to results of the first quarter of 2009 660 000 m² of housing have been commissioned in the republic. A serious work on construction development is planned for 2009. For the remained 9 months in 2009 1,34 mln. m² of housing should be commissioned for realizing annual task.

In accordance with data given by Technical Inventory Bureau for April, 9 the reserve of houses of high readiness makes 1,28 mln. m²; 643 000 m² are multi-family houses, 638 000 m² - private houses.

Notwithstanding the fact that a reserve is rather big, construction is likely not be finished. Head of RT Ministry of construction said that some construction companies even do not have enough funds to finish works on commercial construction of houses which readiness is 90 %. It is necessary to carry out works on individual construction and find out possibility to finance building companies.

Marat Khusnullin dwelled on social mortgage program implementation. In the first quarter of 2009 200 000 m² (25 % of the plan) of housing have been commissioned through this program.

Executive Director of State Housing Fund Talgat Abdullin reported on work of State Housing Fund under RT President.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that it is essential to give a serious media support for implementation of social mortgage program.
