Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in ceremony of signing a Memorandum on strategic cooperation between OAO “TAIF” and GE

On May 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of signing a Memorandum on strategic cooperation between OAO “TAIF” and GE within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The Memorandum presupposes the implementation of projects on construction and modernization of the energy, oil refining and petrochemical production facilities of TAIF group of companies.
The document was signed by President and CEO of GE in Russia and CIS Ron Pollett and Director General of "TAIF" Albert Shigabutdinov.
The Memorandum on strategic cooperation defines the main directions of joint activity in 2014-2017 and makes provision for joint work within the framework of the signed contract for the "turnkey" construction of a new block of a 390 MW gas turbine unit at Kazan combined heat and power plant (CHP-3), as well as projects in water technology and processes.
Ron Pollett noted that the partnership with "TAIF" is a good example of how GE innovative solutions create reliable and efficient energy infrastructure for the entire region.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
