Rustam Minnikhanov re-elected Chairman of Association of innovative regions of Russia

On May 23, Board Chairman of the Association of innovative regions of Russia Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of the Supervision Council of the Association held by Chairman of the Supervision Council Sergey Naryshkin within the framework of St. Petersburg international economic forum.
CEO of the Association of innovative regions of Russia Igor Bortnik presented annual report on results of work for 2013, including initiation of discussion platforms on developing clusters and tools to improve federal and regional legislation.
Members of the Association discussed plans of work for 2014.
Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov reported on the system of assessment of development of innovative regions. The innovative development of regions is meant to be assessed by 23 criteria. One of key tasks of such assessment is to stimulate innovative development of the federation entities and increase output of innovative goods and services.
Russian Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich wished members of the Association to prevent bureaucratization of their activity, and create conditions for real development of entrepreneurship.
Summing up, members of the Association re-elected Rustam Minnikhanov as Chairman of the Association of innovative regions of Russia.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked everyone for given credence and noted that all activities of the Association of innovative regions of Russia are successfully realized.
Participants of the session also approved the bid of Tyumen region on joining the Association.

On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
