Memorandum of intentions on opening friendly relations between Naberezhnye Chelny city and Chinese city of Liaocheng (Shandong province)

Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Liaocheng Mr. Sunn Juanfan signed Memorandum of intentions on opening friendly relations between the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and Chinese city Liaocheng. Before the ceremony of signing RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Mayor of Liaocheng Mr. Sunn Juanfan and members of Chinese delegation.

Head of Tatarstan government expressed gratitude for reception of Tatarstan delegation in Shandong province. He also reminded that the Agreement for establishing friendly relations signed by Tatarstan government and Shandong province stimulated the development of new relations and joint projects.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is ready to take over a Chinese experience in the sphere of creation and development of technoparks and IT-parks, construction of sport facilities.

RT Prime Minister considers that it would be useful to carry out further cooperation between the two regions at the level of cities, enterprises and joint projects. He assured that Tatarstan government would support all projects and initiatives.

Mr. Sunn Juanfan said that Tatarstan is likely to receive an official invitation to visit All-Chinese sports contest to be held in September-October 2009 in Shandong province. He added as well that members of Chinese delegation were satisfied by meetings with Tatarstan businessmen organized for them and visiting Naberezhnye Chelny.

Adjusting the connections with JSC “KAMAZ” would be very useful, he marked.
