Ildar Khalikov meets with President of International Fair Play Committee

On May 31, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with President of International Fair Play Committee Jenő Kamuti at Tatarstan Government House.
International Fair Play Committee is an international non-governmental organization founded by United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization, International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education, and International Sports Press Association, and famous French tennis player Jean Borotra in 1963.
There are 130 member societies and individual members in the Committee. Main activities of the committee are promotion of principles of honesty and nobility in sport and annual presentation of awards.
Welcoming Jenő Kamuti, Ildar Khalikov said that Kazan has been the sports capital of Russia for several years, and Tatarstan football, hockey, and volleyball clubs have become national champions. Ildar Khalikov told about World Summer Universiade, European Championships in Olympic sports held in Kazan.
During the meeting, Jenő Kamuti and Ildar Khalikov discussed holding of new sports international competitions in Tatarstan.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
