Tatarstan President takes part in Sabantui in Tyulyachi region

On June 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Board Chairman of OAO “Gasprom” Valery Golubev, Chairman of Duma of Astrakhan region Aleksandr Klykanov, Director General of OAO “Gasprom Transgas Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov took part in Tatar national holiday Sabantui in Tyulyachi region.
Tatarstan President congratulated citizens on the “plough’s feast” and said that region is developing. “We thank winners of sport competitions and people, whose hard work makes the regions famous,” he said, and presented state awards to the workers.

“Sabantui holiday brings a very deep sense and people’s wisdom. It embodies respect to work of agricultural workers that favours stable economic development,” Valery Golubev said.

Chairman of Duma of Astrakhan region Aleksandr Klykanov, in his turn, noted warm long-term relations established between Astrakhan region and Tatarstan. He added that Sabantui that has become a real national holiday was recently celebrated in his region.
