Russian President Dmitry Medvedev positively characterized the implementation of project “E-government” in Tatarstan. He informed about it on 22 April in his videoblog (http://blog.kremlin.ru) at official portal www.kremlin.ru .

Greeting the participants of Russian internet forum opened on 22 April in a Moscow oblast Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the main task of government today is a creation of appropriate conditions for maximum availability of internet service. “Taking into account the scale of our state it is not so easy, - Russian President said. The second significant object for authorities at all levels is to be open in this sphere. This point leaves much to be desired. However, something is being done. Many state bodies have already constructed quite good sites. There are examples of successful realization of E-government, in Tatarstan for instance”.

We remind that the first session of the RT Cabinet in 2009 (on 9 February) was devoted to implementation of complex project “E-government of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Informatization of state services, educational and health care spheres were pointed out as priority areas.
