New kindergarten opens its doors in Kazan on the Russia Day

On June 12, a kindergarten "Olimpionik" opened in Simonov Street in Kazan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin congratulated citizens of the city on the event.
Located in Aviastroitelny district of Kazan, a three-storey building with an area of 2370 square meters houses 120 children. There are six group rooms with bedrooms, musical and sports halls, medical and catering facilities, laundry and vegetable store in the kindergarten.
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the audience with the opening of the kindergarten. "It is a double celebration today. We are opening this beautiful kindergarten on the Russia Day. It is our main care to take care of our children. Today, Tatarstan, especially Kazan, is showing good demographic results. By and large, 18,000 babies were born in the capital last year, " Tatarstan President said.
It is a joy on the one hand, but we also should be prepared to establish pre-school institutions on the other hand, Rustam Minnikhanov continued. "56 new kindergartens will be built in the republic this year, 15 pre-school institutions will be repaired. If we talk about figures, it is more than 5 billion roubles allocated from the regional and federal budgets, " Tatarstan President pointed out.
Taking the opportunity, Tatarstan President expressed his gratitude to the builders.
"A kindergarten is not a place where children spend their time. It is a school, where they learn certain skills. Their future will be formed here. Therefore, the role of teachers, who work here, is very important, " Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
Tatarstan Presiden presented a gift certificate to buy an interactive complex to Head of the kindergarten Alsou Agdamova.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
