Marat Akhmetov: “The situation on fields is still difficult”

On June 13, at a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov said that the situation on fields is still difficult though it has been raining within the last few days.
He continued that this year there were only 22 mm of average precipitation instead of 65 mm.
There are 4.7 centners of fodder units left per one head of cattle, 50, 000 tonnes of hay, 120, 000 tonnes of haylage have been procured.
Favourable milk purchase prices led to the increase in revenues. According to Marat Akhmetov, 460, 000 tonnes of milk have been produced in the republic from the beginning of the year. By and large, the revenues in Tatarstan livestock sector made 21 billion roubles.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
