Restoration of Gorky, Lenin, Boratynsky and Tolstoy museums is being finished in Kazan

On June 17, at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers, Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Deputy Minister of Culture Svetlana Persova, and First Deputy Head of Kazan executive committee for transport, land and property Rustam Nigmatullin reported on restoration of objects in the historic centre of Kazan.
Olesya Baltusova told about allocation of funds for restoration of Gorky, Lenin, Boratynsky and Tolstoy museums. The restoration works are nearly finished. As for Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda, problems with organization of traffic of tourist buses and anti-parking modules in Kayum Nasyri street are being solved.
Olesya Baltusova noted that the dialogue with owners and controlling authorities has been established. However, one of urgent problems is objects’ purpose. Olesya Baltusova continued that private investors help changing the Kazan centre.
The Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit is being reconstructed with the auspices of Tatarstan Government.
Deputy Minister of Culture Svetlana Persova, in her turn, told that restoration works are being done at 8 cultural objects in Kazan, including the house of Lev Tolstoy, Lutheran Church in Karl Marx street, Galeev Mosque, madrasah in Satyshevo township, Sabinsky region, “Gubaidi” madrasah in Yutazinsky region, the house of Ushkov in Mendeleevsky region, the Molostov house and estate in Tetyushsky region, and Boratynsky estate.
Restoration works carried out at the expense of private investors are going on. Svetlana Persova told that restoration of the building of “Volga” hotel in 3, Gorky street, and the House of Press are to be finished soon. Restoration works are being done in Aleksandrovsky passage as well.
Svetlana Persova also told about building of new tourist objects, such as the exhibition complex “City panorama” on the Black Lake, and Chistopol historical and cultural museum reserve.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
