Tatarstan innovative objects presented to Secretary of Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev and Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich

On June 19, during the 5th international meeting of high representatives supervising security issues in Kazan (Korston hotel & mall), innovative projects “Innopolis” and “Smart City Kazan” were presented to Secretary of Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev and Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich. The guests were accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The guests visited the exhibition of Tatarstan social and economic achievements, and Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov told about development of the republic.
Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov told about construction of the innovative satellite town “Innopolis” and development of the economic development zone “Innopolis”. He focused on IT industry, and the volume of state electronic services rendered in Tatarstan. He said that more than 1 million personal accounts were registered on the portal of state services.
Commenting on the unique innovative project “Innopolis”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov told about priority objects to be built at the economic development zone “Innopolis”, and prospects of the project.
Later on, Nikolai Patrushev and Mikhail Babich were told about Tatarstan achievements in ship building, aircraft engineering, mechanical engineering, and production of equipment.
Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov presented “Smart City Kazan” project. He told that “Smart City Kazan” will be divided into several zones, including parking area, residential district, exhibition complex, educational and medical clusters. He continued that 1.6 million m² of housing and 1 million m² of commercial infrastructure are to be built there.
Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, in his turn, told about development of oil, gas and chemical sector.
Later the same day, the guests went to the 5th international meeting of high representatives supervising security issues.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
