Agreement on cooperation signed between Tatarstan and Sverdlovsk region

On June 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuivashev signed agreement on cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical, ecological, humanitarian and cultural spheres between Tatarstan and Sverdlovsk region.
The agreement implies exchange of scientific-technical, economic, and legal information, favours promotion of products manufactured in regions, holding of joint fairs, auctions and exhibitions, interregional exchange of experience in development and implementation of regional programmes.
The Protocol on realization of this agreement was also signed today.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, representatives of ministries and agencies, members of the official delegation of Sverdlovsk region, who are visiting Kazan on June 20-21, were present at the signing ceremony.

On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
