Tatarstan Minister of Transport reports on the progress of public road works in Tatarstan in 2014

On July 5, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin reported on the progress of public road works in Tatarstan in 2014.
In particular, Lenar Safin told about road works done in 2014 at the expense of municipal road funds.
The repair of the existing road and street system with asphalt concrete pavement is underway in regional centers and towns. According to Lenar Safin, the works are done according to the schedule.
By and large, 68 objects, including 28 objects with transitional type of road coating and 40 objects with asphalt concrete pavement will be built to provide rural settlements with paved roads. As of today, the programme has been executed by more than 50 per cent.
As for bringing access roads to family farms and cattle-breeding complex up to the standard in Tatarstan in 2014, the funding of the programme makes 300 million roubles with 70 objects being under construction.
Lenar Safin also reported on road works in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny in 2014.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
