Tatarstan President meets with Vice-President of Uruguay

On July 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Vice President of Uruguay, Chairman of the General Assembly (Parliament) of Uruguay Danilo Astori. Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay Roberto Kreimerman also took part in the meeting.
Welcoming Mr. Astori, Rustam Minnikhanov said that he is glad of an opportunity to learn more about Uruguay, get familiar with its social and economic, scientific, technical and cultural development, look into the possibilities of economic cooperation, and establish business contacts. Tatarstan President noted that the apparent mutual interest between the two regions will undoubtedly allow finding a lot of areas to implement joint projects.
Rustam Minnikhanov said he is sure that the international conference, which opened today in Montevideo, will give an additional impetus to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Russia and Uruguay, and strengthen relations between the regions.
Vice-President of Uruguay also noted the growing interest of Uruguay to the Russian Federation.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
