On July 16, in Moscow, the Head of the working group of Russian State Council Presidium, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of the working group on improving motor roads network for the purpose of complex development of Russian territories.

Participants of the session discussed prospects of road industry, construction of hard-surface rural roads and new roads. It was noted that the situation with construction of hard-surface rural roads was not satisfactory.

Telling about solution of the problem in Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov told that 748 townships do not have hard-surface roads. He noted that private-state partnership is very important for the industry to help regions developing road network.

According to members of the working group, maintenance of built roads and construction of new ones is impossible without changing the legislative framework. The so-called “breakthrough” complex measures are required.
