Aleksei Pesoshin meets Director General of the Department of planning, finances and international relations of Chinese Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development He Xinhua

On July 22, Tatarstan Acting Prime Minister Aleksei Pesoshin met the delegation of the People's Republic of China led by Director General of the Department of planning, finances and international relations of Chinese Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development He Xinhua at Tatarstan Government House.
Welcoming the guests, Aleksei Pesoshin said that Tatarstan leadership has cooperated with Chinese colleagues in many economic sectors since 2011.
He briefly told about Tatarstan economic potential noting that oil, gas and chemical and engineering are main sectors in industrial production. The amount of capital investments made 15 billion US dollars in 2013. Further economic growth is planned at the expense of major enterprises Tatneft, KAMAZ, and TAIF.
“We understand that attraction of investments will require further steps on improving investment climate in the republic. Many foreign companies are already working in Tatarstan, and we are creating favourable conditions for doing business and provide highly skilled personnel, developed infrastructure in different industrial sectors,” Aleksei Pesoshin said.
The parties discussed issues of cooperation in construction sphere.
In particular, Tatarstan Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin, who took part in the meeting, said that during their stay in Kazan members of Chinese delegation will visit some construction sites and discuss further cooperation.
Members of the delegation, in their turn, said they had good impressions from staying in Kazan. “Your city is growing, lots of objects are being constructed,” Mr He Xinhua said.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
