Rustam Minnikhanov visits some construction and reconstruction sites in Kazan

On July 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov made a detour of some construction and reconstruction sites in Kazan.
The first site was the Victory Park, which is under large-scale construction, the funds for which were allocated from the regional budget. In addition, the city budget funds, voluntary contribution by businesses and large industrial enterprises will be used. All the works will be completed by the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is planned to repair the memorial area, bring into proper condition the displayed military equipment, and erect a monument to home front workers at the park.
The park improvement plan consists of three phases, the first of which is the reconstruction of the memorial area. It is expected to establish outdoor sports grounds, bicycle paths, as well as a children's playground for the city residents.
Then, Rustam Minnikhanov inpsected construction sites of an office building on Dekabristov Street and a new seven-storey building of the Arbitration Court Novo-Pesochnaya Street.
Tatarstan President and his party also visited the construction site of Sports Center for Patriotic and Pre-conscription Training of young people Novo-Pesochnaya Street, where construction and repair works are underway. It is planned to set up an international school with subjects to be taught in English and other foreign languages with use of innovative technologies at this center.
During his detour, Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President on Social Affairs Tatiana Larionova, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin and other officials.

On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
