Igor Shuvalov: Russia should keep on actively exporting raw materials and energy resources while they are in demand in the world market

On July 25, at his meeting with participants of the international educational forum “Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy” being held in Kazan, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov said that Russia should keep on actively exporting raw materials and energy resources while they are in demand in the world market.
Igor Shuvalov also noted that the expenditure budget cannot be set based only on proceeds from sales of raw materials. Answering the question regarding his assessment of the long-term gas contract with China signed on May 21 during the visit of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to People’s Republic of China, Igor Shuvalov said that the world gas map is quickly changing and nobody knows what the gas market will be in 50 years. Therefore, according to him, the long-term agreement on gas supplies to China is an exceptional success.
After the meeting, Igor Shuvalov, Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Vladimir Mau and Tatartstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who also took part in the meeting, answered questions from journalists.

“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
