Output growth in Tatarstan oil, gas and chemical sector to make 28 per cent by 2019

On July 25, at a Board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” Oil Company chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the company’s Director General Rafinat Yarullin said that working out of the Programme of Tatarstan oil, gas and chemical sector development for 2015-2019 is nearly finished.
Rafinat Yarullin noted that implementation of the programme will favour the output growth in Tatarstan oil, gas and chemical sector by 28 per cent as compared to 2013. Conditions for increasing production by 17 per cent more will be provided by 2020.
The programme implies quality changes in the sector.
Speaking about priority investment projects, Rafinat Yarullin informed participants of the meeting that Tatneft Oil Company strategy includes four main areas, such as adoption of new oil production and drilling technologies, development of superviscous and shale oil. The processing depth is expected to make 97 per cent by 2020. The Tatneft is reconstructing Nizhnekamsk Heat Power Station-2.
Tatneft tyre complex focuses on brand promotion, expansion of product range, and sales geography in Russia.
TAIF group is planning exponential growth of oil processing and petrochemical output. The priority task is to finish construction of the complex of advanced processing of oil residues by 2020.
The Nizhnekamskneftekhim Petrochemical Company will increase rubber production, build olefin complex, and polymerization facilities.
The Kazanorgsintez Organic Synthesis Plant will be modernizing present production facilities in the next 2-3 years and start new stage of investment development from 2017.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
