Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Deputy Chairman of Military-industrial commission under the Government of the Russian Federation Yury Mikhailov

On August 5, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of scientific and technical council under the Government of the Russian Federation - Deputy Chairman of Military-industrial commission Yury Mikhailov discussed cooperation in the context of defence industry complex development.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin took part in the meeting.
The Military-industrial commission under the Government of the Russian Federation is a permanent body dealing with organization and coordination of activity of federal executive authorities on realization of state policy in military-industrial sphere and military-technical support of defence industry, law enforcement activity and national security.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
