Tatarstan President meets with delegation of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation

On August 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with delegation of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation (CASIC) and its subsidiary Aerosun.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded members of the delegation about his visit to China in April, when he met with CASIC executives in Beijing.
During their visit to Kazan, members of Chinese delegation will take part in the international exhibition of aerospace technologies “AKTO-2014”.
Tatarstan President noted the growing importance of trade and economic relations between Russia and China, and confirmed the intentions of Tatarstan leadership to develop relations with China.
The parties also discussed prospective areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and CASIC. Rustam Minnikhanov suggested members of the delegation discussing these issues with heads of regional enterprises during their visit.
Vice-Premier – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, heads of major Tatarstan enterprises took part in the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
