Rustam Minnikhanov: Kazan helicopters plant is the pride of the Republic of Tatarstan and the whole country, and its produce is known in 100 countries around the world

On August 11, at a meeting with employees of Kazan helicopters plant, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Kazan helicopters plant is the pride of the Republic of Tatarstan and the whole country and its produce is known in 100 countries around the world. The President noted that high-quality produce is manufactured at the plant and it is a very prospective enterprise.
It is expected that the plant’s proceeds will make 54 billion roubles in 2014. “Not all enterprises have development and production departments in one place. Kazan helicopters plant managed to maintain the production and created a solid foundation for development,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He especially noted plant’s activity in the sphere of personnel training.
As for production modernization, Rustam Minnikhanov said he was glad to share joyful feelings concerning the launch of new painting finishing department.
Answering the questions about economic sanctions being imposed on Russia today, Rustam Minnikhanov said that there are no unsolvable tasks and we are able to deal with the situation.
The President also noted that he had set the task before Tatarstan Government to monitor the situation with prices for some goods.
“Tatarstan is a self-reliant region in terms of supply of meat, vegetables, and milk. As for agricultural sector, private and family farms are developing in the republic. It will help to provide employment of population and support rural areas. We should provide all necessary conditions for agricultural producers, including loans for business development,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
