Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates students of Volga Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism on victory at World Rowing and Canoeing Championship 2014

On August 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated students of Volga Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism Rasul Ishmukhamedov and Kirill Shamshurin on the victory at World Rowing and Canoeing Championship 2014 in “Canoe-4” discipline at the distance of 1000 metres.

Rustam Minnikhanov sent a greetings telegram to rector of Volga Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism Yusup Yakubov, honoured coach of Russian Federation Vladimir Loginov, world-class master of sports Rasul Ishmukhamedov, and world-class master of sports Kirill Shamshurin:

At a reconstructed rowing canal “Krylatskoe” in Moscow, one of the best water tracks in our country, the sportsmen demonstrated their highest skills and added other gold medals to the country’s collection. We wish you happiness, strong health, good luck, and new sports achievements for the good of Tatarstan and Russia.”
