School and kindergarten opened in Buinsk region of Tatarstan after major repair and reconstruction

On August 18, a school and kindergarten opened after major repair and reconstruction in Buinsk region. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Head of Buinsk region Azat Aizetullov attended opening ceremonies.
The secondary school in Starye Studentsy village is located in a three story brick building built in 1977. The major repairs started in January of this year and cost 24.3 million roubles, including 14.3 million allocated from the regional budget and 10 million provided by Northwest Trunk Pipelines as sponsor support. The building houses a kindergarten as well.
Ildar Khalikov thanked Northwest Trunk Pipelines, other companies for sponsporship, and especially thanked the builders.
Azat Aizetullov noted that the opening of the school after the major repairs is a big event for the local dwellers of Starye Studentsy village. He also drew attention to the fact that in addition to the capital repair of the school, an administrative and residential complex for district police officers, medical and obstetrical station, and roads were built in the village.
After visiting the school, Ildar Khalikov and Azat Aizetullov took part in the re-opening of the Ak Kaen kindergarten after reconstruction in Buinsk. The kindergarten was in emergency condition for the last three years. Its reconstruction cost 26.4 million roubles. The kindergarten is designed for 80 seats, four groups: two groups for children between the ages of one and three and another two for the preschool children.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
