Ilnar Girfanov becomes new Chairman of Tatarstan branch of Association of Lawyers of Russia

On August 21, at a conference of the Association of Lawyers of Russia it was announced that Ilnar Girfanov became new Chairman of Tatarstan branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
“There are many associations in Russia, but the Association of Lawyers stands apart. It is a big professional and official organization,” Tatarstan Prime Minister, Chairman of the Guardian Board of Tatarstan branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Ildar Khalikov said.
He reminded participants of the conference that Tatarstan branch was founded in 2007, and 464 lawyers are members of the association. By and large, the Association of Lawyers of Russia comprises 30, 000 members. New branches opened in Crimea and Sevastopol this year.
Ildar Khalikov introduced Ilnar Girfanov, new Chairman of Tatarstan branch, who was Chairman of Tatarstan branch of the Association of Young Lawyers and Co-Founder of regional branch of “Young Russia” party.
Also, members of the Board of Tatarstan branch of the Association were elected at the conference.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
