Implementation of social programmes to be continued in Tatarstan

On August 22, at his meeting with administration of Arsk region, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that implementation of social programmes will be continued in Tatarstan.
“We have some problems to be solved, such as construction of hard surface roads in townships, site improvement, reconstruction of lighting systems in rural areas, “Pure water” programme, etc. We will deal with all these issues,” Ildar Khalikov continued.
The Prime Minister noted that Tatarstan President made decision to continue implementation of social programmes in 2015.
Ildar Khalikov also noted that major efforts are taken to improve the quality of life in the republic, in particular, kindergartens are being constructed, major repair of schools is being done, medical stations and village clubs are being built.
It was noted that oil industry is still the key economic sector in Tatarstan. The priority economic projects implemented in Tatarstan are TANECO, TAIF-NK, and OAO Ammony that will open in 2015. Main industrial sites are Special economic zone “Alabuga”, Kama industrial park “Master”, and technopark “Himgrad”.
The Prime Minister noted that much attention is paid to development of rural areas, noting that 17 billion roubles were allocated for this sphere in 2013.
Ildar Khalikov stressed that Tatarstan takes the first place by milk production and second place by meat and potato production in Russia. Therefore, much emphasis is put on development of family and private farms.
Summing up, Ildar Khalikov noted that many social programmes are realized due to such meetings with local administration.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
