Rustam Minnikhanov opens new kindergarten in Bavly region

On August 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Bavly municipal region (Tatarstan). The President was accompanied by Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and Head of Bavly region Albert Khabibullin.

In Kzyl-Yar village Rustam Minnikhanov opened a new kindergarten, visited the Museum of Fanis Yarullin, and a house of a local police officer.

Speaking at the opening of the kindergarten, Tatarstan President noted that due to the improvement in the demographic situation in the republic the construction of new pre-school institutions is required. “This year alone 56 kindergartens will be built in the republic. Education is the pledge of a successful future, and, therefore, Tatarstan leadership will continue to create conditions for children,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

The new kindergarten for 50 places was built under the regional programme for construction of pre-school education institutions. The distinguished guests looked around the kindergarten and talked to children.

In Kzyl-Yar Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the Museum of Tatar poet Fanis Yarullin, one of the most famous dwellers of the village. Here, Albert Khabibullin told Rustam Minnikhanov about plans to set up a monument to Fanis Yuarullin in the center of Bavly town. According to Khabibullin, Tatneft’s Director Nail Maganov promised to render assistance in making the monument.


At the local House of Culture in Bavly Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition of farms and talked to farmers. Here, Tatarstan President met one of the most famous old stagers of Bavly region, Mater of Sport of the USSR in track and field athletics and cross country skiing Vasily Matveev. Tatarstan President wished Vasily Matveev many years of life and new achievements in sports.

Later on the same day, Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with activists of the region.
