New fire station opens in Staroe Drozhzhanoe village, Tatarstan

On August 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Rafis Khabibullin, Head of Drizhzhanovsky region Alexander Shadrikov took part in the opening of a new fire station in Staroe Drozhzhanoe village, Tatarstan.
The new building was erected next to the old one, which is several times smaller.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Alexander Shadrikov noted that the new fire station ensures the safety of local dwellers.
Ildar Khalikov, in his turn, noted that the new building is very functional. He noted that Tatarstan Ministry of Emergency Situations has lately made good progress in their work.
He handed over keys to new emergency vehicles UAZ-23632 UAZ Pickup and UAZ PATRIOT to chiefs of search and rescue teams. Nine cars were purchased using the funds allocated from the Tatarstan budget to replenish Tatarstan Ministry of Emergency Situations under the federal target programme "Improving road safety in 2013-2020." The vehicles will be used in search and rescue operations throughout the republic and, first of all, in the aftermath of car accidents.
Upon handing in the symbolic key to the building to the honourable guests, the official opening of the fire station took place.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
