Rustam Minnikhanov hands over state awards of Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to Tatarstan citizens

On August 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over state awards of Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished citizens, doctors, teachers, builders, cultural workers, veterans of Great Patriotic War, mothers with many children. The event was held at the reception hall in the Cannon Court (Pushechny Dvor, Kazan Kremlin).
Opening the event, Rustam Minnikhanov said that it has become a good tradition to hand over state awards of Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to representatives of different spheres and professions.
The President noted that today Tatarstan is a developing region and is in top five subjects of the federation by social and economic indicators. We see positive dynamics is economy due to support of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
“You represent creative social and economic sectors and work for the benefit of the republic. Tatarstan is the leader in education, culture, agriculture and other spheres, our innovative projects are adopted by other regions. One of priority tasks today is improvement of the quality of life, and it will depend on our self-reliance,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He continued that 30 federal and regional programmes are implemented in the republic, and more than 53 billion roubles are allocated for these purposes.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the World summer Universiade was successfully hold in 2013, and World Aquatics Championship will be held in 2015. He congratulated participants of the ceremony on receiving well-deserved awards and wished success in their work.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
