Tatarstan Prime Minister: Saby region holds leading positions in agricultural sector

On August 28, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the opening of a new kindergarten “Chocolate” for 120 children in Saby region.
On behalf of Tatarstan President and personally Ildar Khalikov congratulated children and their parents on the event. “A total of 56 new kindergartens are opening their doors not just here but throughout the republic. Your kindergarten was built up to standard and has a very original name. Let the Chocolate be your favorite place," he said.
Ildar Khalikov awarded builders Letters of Gratitude of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers. Head of Ak-Tash building company Gazinur Akhmetov handed in a symbolic key from the preschool to Head of the kindergarten Fira Ismagilova.
After the ceremony, the guests looked around the preschool facilities. The kindergarten will provide extra educational services, including foreign language classes. The focus will be on developing children’s intellectual and musical capabilities. The curriculum includes recreational gymnastics as well.
The construction of the kindergarten with a total area of 1,790 square meters cost 74 million roubles.
Later on the same day, Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with activists of the region. According to Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan pays particular attention to the development of the agricultural sector. "In 2013, 17 billion roubles were allocated for the agricultural sector. Today Tatarstan milk production ranks first in Russia. As for the production of meat and potatoes we are in the second place. Saby region holds leading positions in the agricultural sector, " he said.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
