Tatarstan Prime Minister visits his native school in Agryz on the Knowledge Day

On September 1, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov began his working trip to Agryz Region with a visit to his own school to take part in celebrations dedicated to the Knowledge Day.
"In 2015, it will be 30 years since I finished school. Many years have passed, but school years, teachers and classmates are not forgotten. Today, when I see my teachers again I feel so excited as if I were back in my school years. Thank you, my dear teachers,” Ildar Khalikov said, greeting his teachers. At his school, he walked through corridors, visited the chemistry classroom, where he studied, and met with his classmates.
Then, Head of Tatarstan Government took part in the solemn commissioning of 15 houses in October microdistrict. "After explosions that took place in Pugachevo village three years ago, wooden barracks built in the 1930-ies were found to be unsuitable for living in. Tatarstan President addressed the Russian Government with a request to build new houses instead shabby barracks. As a result, a modern microdistrict was built shortly. This should be the starting point for renovation of Agryz,” Ildar Khalikov said.
A total of 267 families received keys to new apartments. Ildar Khalikov visited some of them and later met with activists of the region. Head of the region Valery Makarov reported on the social and economic development of the region, including improvement of living conditions due to 18 social programmes implemented in the region.
Ildar Khalikov, in his turn, told about projects being implemented within the framework of regional programmes in Tatarstan. "Rustam Minnikhanov assured that implementation of all 30 programmes will be continued in 2015. Tatarstan is one the leading region in many respects and sets an example for other Russian regions,” Ildar Khalikov said.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
