Tatarstan Prime Minister: “Mendeleevsk is a developing region”

On September 1, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in opening of four objects in Mendeleevsk region, - an automatic air pollution control station, reconstructed Palace of culture, a new building of school No. 1 and house No. 7 in Tatarstan street.
The air pollution control station is meant for continuous monitoring of air pollutants emitted by chemical enterprise. The readings will be sent to the Main ecological department for taking necessary measures.
Ildar Khalikov also took part in opening of a new building of school No. 1 for 400 pupils.
Head of the region Igor Privalov, who was present at the event, handed over letters of gratitude to builders, who did their job in a short time.
Then, Ildar Khalikov and Igor Privalov took part in opening of the house No. 7 in Tatarstan street that was built under social mortgage programme for veterans of WW II, widows of veterans, large families, orphan children, workers of non-profit organizations, Karpov chemical plant, and OOO “Mendeleevskasot”.
Opening of the reconstructed Palace of culture was a big holiday for town dwellers. The honoured guests were met by creative teams in bright costumes.
The Palace was reconstructed in accordance with Tatarstan President’s order. 100 million roubles were allocated for refurbishing works. Head of Tatarstan Government also met with local administration in a concert hall.
Ildar Khalikov told citizens about social and economic development of the republic, and noted that Mendeleevsk is a developing region and is one of leading regions by attracted investments.
The Prime Minister handed letter of gratitude of the Cabinet of Ministers to Director of OOO “Building Company “Sozidanie” Ramil Ziganshin for his long-term valorous labour.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
