First rental house for IT specialists commissioned in Naberezhnye Chelny

On September 1, during his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony to mark the commissioning of the first rental house for specialists of Naberezhnye Chelny IT park.
A 118-apartment ten-storey house built by the Tatarstan State Housing Foundation is located not far from the IT-park. The house is rented to non-resident IT specialists without transferring the ownership to its tenants.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the IT-park is a special environment for special people. "We should attract these people from other cities and regions as well, therefore, we decided to build a rental house for employees, so that IT specialists come and live here,” Minnikhanov said.
According to him, this house is one of the first experiences of the republic in the construction of rental housing. In the future, similar houses will be opened in the Innopolis smart city in Kazan and near the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
Rustam Minnikhanov looked around apartments in the new house and talked to its future tenants.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
