Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of Resource Teaching Staff Training Center at Kazan Teacher Training College

On September 2, speaking at a solemn event dedicated to opening of Resource Teaching Staff Training Center at Kazan Teacher Training College, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that a teacher is the most important link in the educational system.
Russia’s Deputy Minister of Education and Science Alexander Povalko, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Chief of Staff of the Administrative Office of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Rector of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University Ilshat Gafurov and other officials took part in the event.
Speaking at the solemn ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Kazan Teacher Training College is one of the oldest educational institutions in the republic. The Resource Teaching Staff Training Center that will operate at the college fits in with the strategy for modernizing the regional system of education.
Tatarstan President stressed that today particular attentions is paid to teaching staff training in accordance with the most modern requirements. Teacher is the most important link in the educational system, Minnikhanov said.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that this resource center is the second one opened in the republic for training primary general and pre-school education teaches, and in the near future the third resource center will be opened. He thanked the Russia’s Ministry of Education and Science for their support and said that Tatarstan is always involved in all the projects being implemented by the federal center.
Alexander Povalko congratulated everyone on the beginning of the new academic year. You have chosen a difficult, but very important way in life - the teaching profession, he said, addressing students of the Kazan Teacher Training College.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
