On September 4, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited “Kazan electrical networks”, a subsidiary of OAO “Grid company”, to see the work of one of Kazan substations and new customer service centre.
The 220 kV “Central” substation, one of tie stations that provides electricity for the southern part of the city, was put into operation in 1981. Because of high social and economic load and the task to provide reliable power supply of main Universiade venues, the substation was completely reconstructed and new equipment was installed. The reconstruction works started in 2010 and finished in 2013.
Today, the Prime Minister was shown around the reconstructed substation and informed about new equipment. Ildar Khalikov noted high level of automation and wide use of computer technologies in the process of electricity distribution control.
On July 1, 2014, new customer service centre of “Kazan electrical networks” opened to make the process of technological connection easier and increase accessibility of electrical grid infrastructure for all customers.
At his meeting with company’s employees at the head office of “Kazan electrical networks”, Ildar Khalikov noted that Tatarstan power engineering workers gained confidence that was proved by many trials.
“I would like to express gratitude to all employees for your excellent work during preparation for Universiade,” Ildar Khalikov said.
Ildar Khalikov noted sustainable development of the republic in spite of difficult economic situation and the contribution of power engineering workers, who provide reliable electricity supply.
Summing up, the Prime Minister said that a lot of large projects that will require power capacities are to be implemented in Tatarstan.
Also, Ildar Khalikov briefly told about social programmes being realized in Tatarstan.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
