Rustam Minnikhanov visits Elabuga polytechnic college

On September 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by regional Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov and Head of Elabuga region Gennady Emelyanov visited a resource staff training centre for Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” at Elabuga polytechnic college.
Training of workers and specialists that is currently carried out at Elabuga polytechnic college meets recruitment needs in workers and middle management positions of industrial enterprises and residents of Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”. More than 6,000 qualified specialists have already received their training at the college.
The resource staff training centre for engineering enterprises was established at Elabuga polytechnic college in cooperation with Ford Sollers, one of the largest residents of SEZ “Alabuga”.
Rustam Minnikhanov looked around classrooms, laboratories, and workshops, and met with college staff members.
Rustam Minnikhanov also visited technical department of Elabuga institute of Kazan Federal University where he discussed prospects of the institute development.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
