Rustam Minnikhanov visits Cadet Boarding School in Chistopol

On September 5, during his working trip to Chistopol region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Cadet Boarding School No. 11 that was repaired before the beginning of new school year.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, today cadet schools offer a thorough training of teenagers for future military service, as well as facilitate the education of children from problem families.
Tatarstan President was shown around the renovated building and visited its sports hall and a dining room. He also attended a history lesson and saw a computer science classroom, where he asked students about board and lodging conditions in the school.
Tatarstan President was also told about the military-patriotic education of cadets, their sports training and participation in competitions (ski trips in winter, forced marches in summer, etc.). "We know that you support the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to revive the GTO workout programme", the cadets addressed Rustam Minnikhanov, who, in his turn, asked students how many push-ups they can do and how much time they need to disassemble and assemble a submachine gun, etc.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
