Day of oil industry workers celebrated in Almetievsk

On September 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of OAO Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Head of Almetievsk region Mazit Salikhov, heads of Russian ministries and agencies, honoured guests from Tatarstan and Russian regions and heads of municipalities of the region took part in celebrations on the occasion of the Day of oil and gas industry workers in Almetievsk.
Solemn celebrations began with opening of a reconstructed culture centre “Iske Elmet” in the historic part of the city, and a spectacular performance about development of oil industry in Tatarstan.
Speaking at the event, Rustam Minnikhanov highly estimated the contribution of oil industry workers to economic and social development of the republic and congratulated everyone on the Day of oil and gas industry workers.
As the celebrations went on, the equestrian competitions and performance of famous Russian and Tatar artists took place.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
