On September 10, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov accompanied by Head of Spassky region Kamil Nugaev visited several industrial facilities in Bolgar.
The first site was a meat processing complex OOO “Spasskie kolbasy” that will be officially open in the first quarter of 2015. The company’s financial director Gadel Zainullin told what had been done and what was planned to launch the production.
Ildar Khalikov also visited Vladimir Monakhov’s bakery that opened two years ago. With the working conditions that meet modern requirements and its new equipment, the bakery produces a wide range of breads and patisseries.
The guests also visited children’s playground “Dubki” and talked to children, who were very glad to have new place to spend their leisure time and play sports.
Bolgar sanatorium and boarding school was completely refurbished this year with 70 million roubles of funding. The Prime Minister noted a good repair quality and wished the school staff success.
At his meeting with local administration, Ildar Khalikov discussed social and economic development of the region and readiness of utilities for the coming heating season.
Speaking about current social and economic situation, head of the region said that harvesting was almost finished. The crop yield made 21.1 centners per hectare, gross grain harvest – 78400 tonnes. The soil cultivation and autumn sowing are underway. He noted that it is necessary to support small businesses and family farms.
Due to major efforts taken by dwellers of Spassky region Bolgar historical complex was included in UNESCO World Heritage List. Ildar Khalikov thanked everyone for their work.
The Prime Minister also noted that for the last five years positive changes took place in the region. New roads, houses, medical stations, clubs, schools, kindergartens were built. He mentioned that more than 20 social programmes aimed at raising the well-being of people, development of infrastructure and industrial enterprises are implemented in Tatarstan.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
