Results of architectural seminar on development of the Admiralty settlement summed up in Kazan

On September 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a closing ceremony of the International architectural seminar “INSERTS – the Admiralty settlement”.
Organized by the city administration and Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, the seminar was held in Kazan on September 7-13. The Chief Architect of Barcelona, Professor Jose Asebilio became the scientific director of the seminar, while Swiss Architect Stanislava Boskovic was its scientific coordinator.
Students, post-graduates and architects from Kazan, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Switzerland discussed topical issues of contemporary urban development using the Admiralty Settlement as an example.
Participants of the seminar presented their projects to modernize the Admiralty settlement. After that, the honoured guests handed in diplomas to the seminar participants.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked teachers and students for a great work done, assuring them that their proposals would be accepted, considered and used in the development of the Admiralty settlement.
Tatarstan President thanked Professor Jose Asebilio. "I am sure that our cooperation will contribute to improving Kazan," Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the famous architect.
Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin also attended the ceremony.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
